LESSONS IN DUPLICITY BY PETER MCGREGOR

ABOUT THE BOOK
John Tamplin is visiting Africa on business when he unexpectedly comes across his childhood sweetheart, Avril, in a hotel. Unable to resist her, as he had been 26 years earlier, he finds himself drawn into her world and her bed. He then finds himself living for a few days with the knowledge that Avril carries a gun which she can use, can produce a fake passport and has surprisingly close relationships with top political players in the rebel Rhodesian Government.

Reginald Boston is the Chairman and Managing Director of "Boston’s", who finds that fighting to maintain his position as head of the company and head of an increasingly restless family is no easy task. However, with the pack starting to catch up with him and problems arising that might be uncomfortable not only to himself, action must be taken. But is honesty the best policy when you are protecting a family legacy and the jobs of so many innocent people?

In a cruel twist of fate, John Tamplin as the head of the vulnerable division of "Boston’s", is plunged into conflict when he returns to his more customary life from his African trip and is trying to live down the unexpected affair. But will John learn to lie without feeling guilty, especially when he becomes further entangled in the deeds of the Boston family? And how will he react when Avril reappears unexpectedly in England and is added to the web of intrigue and deception?
